What pairing changes

  • The token’s price is quoted in the pair asset, not in dollars — a launch paired with NVDA rises and falls against NVIDIA.
  • Fees arrive in that asset, so the vault buys the token back with it.
  • The amount needed to graduate is set per asset by Pons, and the create form reads it live rather than assuming.

Worth knowing

Robinhood keeps a pause switch on the tokenised equities. It is default-open and has not been used, but if an asset were paused, trading and fee collection for a token paired with it would stop until it reopened.

Only ETH-paired launches currently carry Pons’ economics commitment — the hash that makes a launch revert if the terms changed underneath it. Other pairs launch without that check.
